Realness: A Therapy Group for Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender and Queer Men

November 10 @ 7:00 am - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until January 31, 2023

In a city as vibrant and kinetic as New York and at a time when technology puts interaction at our fingertips, it can be challenging to find a space to cultivate authentic and fulfilling connections. Group therapy is a potent and transformative process that can help you develop a stronger and more honest relationship with yourself and others.

Lead by skilled, queer-identified clinicians, we will explore a variety of issues both general and specific to our community in an affirming, safe, and confidential space.

Themes such as love, isolation, anger, conflict, intimacy, gender, sexuality, and more will be explored.

This group provides a unique opportunity to:
Expand your understanding of your needs and behaviors
Strengthen communication and connection
Develop new skills to resolve conflicts instead of escalating or retreating
Broaden your sense of community and reflect on what it means to be a queer man
Explore, refine and express your feelings by balancing the depth of the heart with the wisdom of the mind.
We welcome anyone who identifies as a gay, bi or queer man. This includes trans and cisgender men as well as other gender identities and expressions. Reflecting the diversity of our community we encourage participation from adults of all ages, races, ethnicities and ability statuses.
